Suzanne Weinstein has been an advocate for the credit union movement for over 25 years. As the President and CEO of Orlando Credit Union, she is dedicated to fostering lifelong relationships with members by empowering them to be the leaders of their financial future. Suzanne is committed to cultivating local community partnerships and collaborating with organizations to further the credit union’s mission of Financial Well-Being for All. Her strategic leadership has guided the credit union through various transformative initiatives, including expanding its field of membership, merger and acquisition, securing a charter change, achieving CDFI certification, raising secondary capital, advancing commercial and small business lending, and real estate projects such as affordable home ownership. She has also driven culture changes and adopted an excellence model to enhance member service.

In addition to her role at Orlando Credit Union, Suzanne is actively involved in several key industry organizations. She serves on the CFPB Credit Union Advisory Committee, is Vice Chair of the America’s Credit Union CEO Executive Council and is a member of the America’s Credit Unions Consumer Protection Subcommittee. She is also a Director on the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) Board of Directors and chairs the LSCU Florida Advocacy Committee. Additionally, Suzanne is a Director at Shared Services for Credit Unions and the Orange County Historical Society. Her past roles include serving as Chair of the CUNA CFO Executive Committee and as a former Filene Research Institute- i3er.

Suzanne holds an MBA and a BSBA in Finance from the University of Central Florida, and she has earned a Certificate in Certified Financial Planning. She also graduated from the CUES Executive Program. Among her most cherished experiences are her time on the Habitat for Humanity Homebuyer Selection Committee, her volunteer work with Orange and Seminole County Public Schools and receiving the Jefferson Award for her mentorship in public schools.
