Chantel Negron is a seasoned leader with over 22 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, including 16 years of dedicated service at Grow Financial Federal Credit Union. She currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Community Development, where she leads strategic initiatives aimed at uplifting and empowering low-income and underserved communities.
Prior to her current role, Chantel served as AVP of Asset Protection, where she leveraged her operational expertise and strategic insight to shape the credit union’s Business Continuity and Financial Crime Units. Her leadership was instrumental in establishing the Incident Management Team and expanding both the BSA and Fraud departments.
Beyond her core responsibilities, Chantel is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion. She chairs Grow Financial’s Diversity Committee and played a key role in championing the organization’s CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) Initiative.
Driven by a deep commitment to community impact, Chantel brings vision, experience, and heart to her work in community development.
Outside of her professional life, Chantel is a proud wife and mother of two. Who in her spare time enjoys exploring her city in search of the most authentic and delicious tacos.
